An olfactory profile, custom-developed.

For an international group in the cosmetics sector, we developed an essential oil from a perfumery botanical, with an olfactory profile distinct from market standards, designed to meet a precise differentiation objective.

SHELF LIFE AND QUALITY

The Challenge

The limited shelf life of the vegetable components reduced the commercial viability of certain references and increased the risk of waste along the supply chain.

A limited shelf life, extended more than threefold.

For the retail food sector, we developed ready-to-eat references with a shelf life more than three times longer than conventional products, while maintaining quality and performance.

The project worked on the product’s stability and on controlling the variables that affect preservation, with the aim of extending shelf life and qualitative consistency.

A longer shelf life, less waste, more efficient distribution, and new commercialization possibilities for references previously penalized by low shelf stability.
